Data We Collect

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name (optional)
  • Organization name
  • Authentication credentials (hashed)

Usage Data

When you use Agenta, we process:

  • Prompts and configurations - The prompts you create and manage
  • Evaluation data - Test sets, evaluation results, and metrics
  • Observability data - Traces, spans, and logs from your LLM applications
  • Secrets - API keys you store for LLM providers (encrypted)

Analytics Data

We collect anonymized analytics to improve our product:

  • Feature usage patterns
  • Performance metrics

Data Retention

Active Data

Your data is retained as long as your account is active:

  • Prompts and configurations - Retained until deleted
  • Evaluation data - Retained until deleted
  • Observability traces - Retained per your plan limits

Deleted Data

When you delete data:

  • It is removed from active use in the product
  • It may remain in backups for a limited period

Account Closure

If you close your account:

  • Data deletion is initiated upon request
  • Timelines depend on your plan and support process

Your Rights

You have control over your data:

Access

  • View all your data through the UI
  • Export your data via API
  • Request a data export from support

Correction

  • Update your profile information
  • Modify your prompts and configurations
  • Correct any inaccurate data

Deletion

  • Delete individual items (prompts, test sets, traces)
  • Delete your entire account
  • Request complete data erasure

Portability

  • Export prompts and configurations
  • Export evaluation results
  • Export observability data

FAQ

Do you use my data to train AI models?

No. Your prompts, evaluation data, and traces are never used to train AI models. Your data is yours.

Can Agenta employees see my data?

Access to customer data is strictly controlled:

  • Only authorized personnel with a business need
  • All access is logged and audited
  • Used only for support and troubleshooting when needed

How long do you keep my traces?

Trace retention depends on your plan. Check your plan details for specific retention periods.

Can I request all my data?

Yes. Contact support to request a complete export of your data.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Account cancellation may retain your data for a limited period to allow account recovery. Contact support for deletion requests.
